Hi! Ok so I have a 20 gallon tank with 6 male Guppies and 4 Julii Cories. I had to go to Delaware for 3 days with my family for my brother's baseball tournament.
*On Friday morning at 7am I fed them before school.
*On Friday afternoon at 4:30 I fed them again.
*Then I left. I left the lights off.
*It's now Saturday night and I'm just worrying about them.
*I will get back home Sunday evening.
I usually feed them twice a day so they aren't used to this... are they going to be okay!? I am so worried that I am going to get back and see them all dead!
What if there is an ammonia spike!? What if they are too hungry? What if they become sick? I love my fishies too much for them to die!
Do you think they will be alright?
Emma: Thanks! What a relief, I feel so much better. That makes sense, there can't be an ammonia spike because they won't really be able to create waste.
We have a neighbor coming in who is letting out my dog, but I didn't want to ask her about the fish because I was thinking the same thing as you: She would overfeed. I have kind of a tricky feeding schedule for a neighbor anyway. Thanks so much!!
