I've Seen this all as I visited the Outskirts of several Caribbean Countries, the Coconut Palm is one of the most VERSATILE trees in the World. The Leaves made the Roof of these Houses, the Trunk made the Foundation/Pillars of the House, The outer Fibers of the Nut made Mattresses for to Sleep on, the Water {Milk} in the nut Quenches the Thirst of the Builders, the Kernel of the Nut is used as Food in many ways, such as when Grated it is boiled in Brown sugar, and set to cool, which turned into something the Locals called "Sugar Cakes". after the sugar is Sucked out of the Candy, it goes to the Chickens as a Snack. The Milky Residue from the Grated Nut, is used in cooking Vegetables. Back to the Leaves, the thin Ribs of the Leaves are made into Skewers to use as in Bar B Q with Meat and Veg, when the Nut is Dried in the Sun or Ovens, it is Called COPRA, which when Crushed/Squeezed, turns into Coconut Oil, the Oil is used to Fry Foods/rub on the Skin/Hair. When the Nut is Dried with everything on it, the Locals make Heads/Faces and Human-like Features out of them, to Sell to the Tourist and such, There More! but I just Ran out of Memory,...Smile!
