I have this weird feeling inside my throat?

when I was drinking a Monster Energy Drink yesterday I got the feeling that it may have done down the wrong tube, and it burned a little, but was soon gone. I then noticed not long after that it was hard to swallow. It feels like a big lump in my throat near the right of my jaw, but a little further down. What exactly is this, and is it dangerous?
 
It might not be from the energy drink, that you drank.
It possibly could be a mucus build up in your throat.
You should try to cough it up, whatever it is. If it doesn't go away in a week.. You should consult your physician.
