I have the filter all set up correctly ect, ect but the water is still cloudy. What would you recommend I treat the water with?

You do NOT need to add any more chemicals nor "clean the filter".

That white haze is all the bacteria that will eventually reside in the filter, it will clear in time. I presume you're going through the nitrogen cycle fishlessly? This is the best way to prepare a tank.

Keep an eye on your water parameters.

there is a water treatment thing like an eye drop bottle that you can put in there to keep the water clean, but mainly, you're supposed to rinse the tank every 1-2 weeks, thats why its probably cloudy if you didn't rinse the tank.
If you did, it could also be because you feed the fish too much food, they don't eat it and then the water goes cloudy.
hope that helps.

okay so u have the filter, but do you actually wash it regularly?
If it goes cloudy it normally means it needs to be washed or you have put too much food in there which is making it really cloudy.
Hope I helped.

It's called "new tank syndrome".
A few days after start up the water becomes cloudy because of the death of bacteria that were already in the water.
beneficial bacteria then feed on those and turn them into beneficial products.
During first weeks you'll need to test the water quality frequently. Too much organic decay and not enough bacteria can lead to a high ammonia level which is toxic to your fish.

So keep your levels in check and it'll go away

it sounds like a problem with the food you are feeding them..

too much or just poor quality
