I have some brief questions about cars? Ford Mustang?

I'm not exactly car savy. But I'm going to be getting a car soon. I've thought a good deal about the 2010 Ford Mustang but on more speculation I doubt it's in the budget. So some of the questions I have are: Is the Ford Mustang a all around good car? How much would it run?( Not souped up or anything just the basic package) I've also though about the Dodge Charger. Price wise/ quality wise which one is recomended. And whats the price on a basic Dodge Charger Package
