I have retofitted Ford Ikon into LPG,but Why does it misses on Petrol?

I hv recently converted my my Ford Ikon into LPG I am facing a peculiar problem it runs very well on gas but it keeps on missing on petrol,so one day i disconnected the battery and waited for about 10 minutes and reconnected it and it ran on petrol, but this has to be done daily when I want to run on petrol,I think ECM gets confused,is there another way rectify this problem.
