I have reddy-brown hair at the moment, and i want to dye it light brown, do i

need to use a pre-lightener? I have coloured hair and it is like reddy-brown. I have bought a garnier nutrisse hair dye in light brown and on the back where it says what colour my hair will go after using it, it shows the colours and then underneath it, it says to use pre-lightener. Will this make my hair go ginger? or do i actually need to use one?

As you have red through your hair you WILL need to use a prelightener to remove the red pigment so the light brown dye will take!
