I have really bad mental illnesses, would home schooling be better for me?

I have a real bad social anxiety, depression, manic depression, bad nerves and anxiety in general. I'm a freshman in high school and haven't made a single friend. I'm only happy outside of school. All of the homework really overwhelms me. I am currently seeing a therapist, I'm not on meds and don't plan to be. Is home schooling a good source of education for me?
