Its front wheel drive, the sedan model, manual.. And basically the whole time ive had it i noticed if i ever turn quite hard i hear like a 'clicking/knocking' sound coming from what i guess around the wheels. (whenever my mate was in the car when we heard it he said it was the CVs)
Anyway, just before it snowed down hard. so we all rolled up to a car park and we were just skidding about, then i had my wheel full lock and i heard a bang and then i couldnt drive any more. so i slowed down, stopped and turned the car off. I thought it might have been the clutch since when i turned the car on again id put it in gear and try to engage it but it wouldnt. it just stayed in neutral. But then my mate said if it was the clutch i wouldnt be able to put it in gear. So is it the CV's?
If so, what is the exact problem, is it easy to fix, and roughly how much?
