i have no idea what to wear to this dance/club night storm help!?

i went last time in jeans and a purple tank top with sequence on it and clogs. this time i was thinking shorts and a tank top, but i have no idea can anyone help me and give me some ideas, it doesn't need to be dressy like high heels and dress stuff, but not sweatshirt and jeans, i need something that looks adorable but yet something i can wear and i wont get too Hot in. thanks!!
 
maybe a mini skirt with a shortsleeved top. and either some flats, this outfit can be dressy but if you dont wear dressy flats or top then you should be fine.
