I have no idea how to record music on a Philips 4GB audio/video player?

I know I have to go to a music site and record music onto my computer.Where I don't know. they I have to move it to the download for the unit. I have never done this and no matter how many times I read the limited instructions it means nothing to me. I need it explained to me like I am electronically handicapped. I have no idea where to start. My grand daughter told me where to go for music,I am like SO. Please help as I have had this recorder for over a year. I really want to figure this out. Tired of teenagers making fun of me. thank you in advance
