how do I build that? Building my own email service do I use FTP? How does it work and more importantly, how do I know if my server host allows me to make my own email service? I know I can send out emails with PHP, but I can't receive them. Do I build a database or something? If you could please point me to the right direction that would be great. Please note that I don't want to pay for a service I just want to have my own domain and have it in my own database. I actually want to build my own email... (service i guess is what you would call it). Thanks!
Yeah, I have no plans in making my own eMail service to compete against gMail or Yahoo.... But I do want one for my business. So POP and STMP? Who does offer stuff like that?
