I have music videos on my pc, want to watch them using dvd player in the lounge what sort of disc do i burn to

Any type of rewritable DVD should work since most DVD players read all the types ( except Dual Layer)

This depends on the DVD player. If you can read the manual to see what it supports. My DVD player, for example, supports CDs, DVDs, CD R, CD RW, and DVD R+-.

I think the more important concern is what kind of file do you have on your computer and what kind of DVD player you have.

If you have a DVD player that's capable of playing DivX encoded AVI files, then all you need to do is burn the file(s) onto a recordable CD or DVD (both will work), and your DVD player can play them.

On the other hand, if you have a WMV or some other kind of video file, then you will need some kind of software to convert the files into a format that your DVD player can read. This is usually a time-intensive process (the conversion to DVD format), and you will have to investigate different software programs that might be able to perform this task.

U no need to buy any disc for that instead check ur pc whether u have installed media players for video, if u have installed na u have to convert ur file from audio to video.Then ur problem will get solved.For further clarification kindly follow the given link.

Try DVD+R It always works for me. They have them at Costco in the electronics section.
