i have metro pcs and my friend gave me a sprint phone. Is there anyway i can transfer?

Yeap Verizon and Sprint uses the same CDMA network as Metro. Just bring any Sprint or Verizon Wireless cell phone to any Metro PCS store and they will flash it for you. Flash means to change the software on the cell phone so that it can work with Metro. There will be a one time fee to flash your phone.

A T&T and T-Mobiles cell phones do not work at all with Metro PCS because they use GSM network.

yes they can. they will flash it with MetroFLASH meaning that you will be able to use almost an phone on all other providers onto the metropcs network. the only sad thing is that you will not be able to go onto the internet or anything like that. all you will be able to do is talk and text. so if you are flashing a smartphone, it is basically just wasting money of you use all the features and apps on it. i dont think it can be any phone that you want to flash, but there are websites telling you what phones are compatible for the flashing process. as for the fee, i am not really sure because i have never done it.
