...when I turn the Volume up? I bought the car with a Pioneer aftermarket headhuntinstalled in the car. When I bought the car the door speakers were blown but the rest of the speakers and amp still worked at all volumes. I recently replaced the door speakers with Kappa 5x7 components speakers. Now when I turn the volume up the Amp shuts off and the all the speakers sound terrible. I spoke with one of the techs at Best Buy where I bought the speakers and they told me that a component device should have been installed behind the aftermarket head unit to regulate the signal to the amp. The amp worked fine when I had the blow speakers in the doors. It still hit hard but sounded obviously like blown speakers. I asked around to a few friends they do alot of there own work on there audio system and no one has heard of this. The system has the Mach 1 factory system besides the head unit and door speakers. How do I fix this? I looked for a control on the 2 amps in the trunk to adjust the amp and I cant find any controls. Any help is greatly appreciated.
