i have just taken a thorn out of my palm?

Hi, I was playing with my brother and i tripped and a massive twig from a rose plant got stuck in my palm, so i pulled it out without thinking because i was scared and in a lot of pain, so i pulled it out, but the thorn was still in, i finally got that out too..do you think i need to do any sort of aftercare to make sure it doesnt get infected?
i washed my hand when it was still in, and i also washed my hand after i got it out, so i made sure there was no mud on my hand, i have an exam on wednesday and i dont want it to get infected

ouch. If i were you, i would keep that really clean and try not to touch it unless your hands are clean and keep a bandage & some anti bacterial creme on it until its healed, you definitely don't want that to get infected!
