I have just installed a bluetooth device to my pc but..........?

I have just installed a bluetooth device to my pc but when i try to receive or send a pic etc it goes into another page which looks very much like as if its in safe mode and important places which need to be clicked is not visible ( hope this is understandable!!)

My pc is a compaq and the bluetooth device is a ultra slim bluetooth dongle

Please help
