I have installed a tube in a tubeless tyre, but i cant get the tyre to seat

on the rim correctly, how can ? I have a kawasaki GT550 and the rear tyre leaked on the rim, so i was advised to put a tube in it to solve the problem. It took my all day todo this, but even though i have inflated the tyre to 40psi, the bead wont sit correctly on the rim.
How cani get it to seat on the rim correctly?
I dont want to put high pressure in the tube, as it may blow the tube.
 
Remove the air and push the tire bead back down off the rim. Get a bucket of dish soap and water. Add plenty of soap, sponge on the tire bead all the way around on both sides and inflate. Everything should seat just fine now. The tube isn't going to pop inside of the tire unless you really exceed the recommended tire pressure by a lot. Then it's the tire exploding that you need to worry about.
