Apparently the spleen thing is very rare and only in the first few weeks. I would say as long as you don't over exert yourself you'll be fine. If we didn't do anything that the medical profession suggest when ill, we might never get better. Do what you can, if you feel worse stop.

Also, i'm unsure of how many weeks in i am, but my throats sore and i've been feeling a little bit more tired than usual, i had a bloodtest yesterday and the results show i have Glandular Fever, i'm 18 years old, and under my left ribcage doesnt feel swolen so i dont think my spleen has swelled yet, also, does it swell in all cases or just some?

And whats the best way to keep myself feeling ok, just drink plenty of fluids?
Also, how long does this usually last? how long will i have to go without kissing/alcohol for?
