I have dry patch on gums and my arms?
I'm not sure what color the one patch in my mouth is exactly (I think red/white?) since it's in the way back under my tongue to the side, but my dentist called it a 'lesion' or something, & I saw an oral surgeon about it, who didn't think it was a big deal because it seems to mostly go away by rubbing, but it keeps coming back and I've had it in that same spot for almost a year. Not painful or anything, just worrisome.

I've never smoked in my life and keep my teeth very clean, no cavities for a while. What worries is that I have [possibly] similar patches on my arms, and I feel like it might be keratosis solaris in a mild form (since I had too much sun-exposure one summer and the only part I used some expired sunscreen on seemed to be the skin that got damaged, my arms), but I spent $170 at the dermatologist with no luck... he said it was dermatitis, even though he didn't actually see the dry, sometimes pink patches of itchy skin since I waited over 3 months...

Now the patches on my arm is spreading, it looks like a small formation of skin-colored dots in the form of a patch (before it becomes the size of a nickel that the bigger one is).

After putting on some lotion, the bigger one seems to be fading but I don't understand why it also seems to be spreading... No other symptoms, the bigger patch seems less itchy although it's still dry and looks sort of like it bleeds a tiny, tiny bit because there seems to be a kind of scarring the size of a pin.

Anyone know what's going on? I feel like I could have anemia or something, I don't know. Maybe it's time for a physical exam...I also live in a cold climate but the arm patches I've had since last summer and the mouth patch showed some months after.
