Leave or something? I have diabetes. This girl I know, her sister in high school got out of P.E. Because of diabetes. Can I do that? Is it even possible? I'm in middle school, and I hate P.E. with a passion. Do you know what I might need to have? What would I do if I did? Most people with medical conditions have a study hall that period. I already do some exercising at home, but I just do NOT want to do P.E. Any Ideas on how to get started? And don't tell me, it's a stupid idea please. It's not like you were in love with running miles and learning how to line dance right? Kay, thanks.(:

Diabetics need exercise. We all hated P.E., but we all had to do it. And you probably need it more than others, as it will improve your health.

Your doctor would have to agree that you need to stop exercising and write a note to that effect. Good luck with that! If it's type 2 diabetes, you SHOULD be exercising (sorry) because it makes you less insulin resistant. If you're type 1 diabetic, there's no reason you shouldn't exercise as long as you have a snack handy to prevent low blood sugar.
