Firstly, does your employer understand diabetes and the necessity of taking insulin at regular intervals. Perhaps, you should try to educate him. Perhaps, you should look for another job. I am diabetic as well and I have had to take in doctor's notes for jury duty and other special circumstances. Theses notes explain my medical condition and state the necessity of me being permitted to carry snacks and take medication.
