Hi everyone, my strength is in chemistry/biology. I get really good grades at school, and I'm one of my teachers' top students in both classes. However, they always recommend me to write some science contest. and I always do VERY bad on them. I fail them.
I don't know why but my mind just blanks out during a contest, I can't even do the simplest questions and I answer all of them wrong. But after the contest when I bring the questions home and do some of them again, I get the answers.
Can someone tell me how can I improve my contest performance? I'm REALLY not comfortable with contests. The entire idea of writing contests is nerve-wrecking. It ruins my confidence also. Thanks!
