I have constant lower back pain.

How long have you had it and where exactly is it? Is it an ache that gets better with rest? Low back pain is the most common to have. It can be caused from any work you do, because when standing and working, a person leans slightly forward and our low back takes all the weight of our upper body. Also, weather can bring on pain if you have arthritis. Or is can be from doing something like vacuming, bending or lifting too much etc.

And in addition, it could be an indication of kidney problems, disk degeneration, or any nuraber of other physiological problems. Have you seen a doctor yet? If not, and this has lasted more than a week or two, start with your family doctor. He can do a basic exam and x-rays, then either refer you on or order more intensive tests if necessary.

I'm not trying to scare you. Without more information, it's hard to give you good advice. Low back pain can be caused by soooo many things, some serious and some minor. Let's hope that yours is minor and you'll be back to normal soon!

Blessings,
Emily
