I have broken locks on my Toyota Tacoma cab...?

I just purchased this 2004 Tacoma pickup truck from a private owner, and I need to get the locks fixed on the cab windows. There are 3 locks total - one on each side of the cab. He either gave me the wrong key for it, or the locks are broken. He insisted that it was the right key and that it didn't work for him either when he got the truck.

At any rate, how could I resolve in fixing this problem? Would I have to take it to the dealer so they can charge me my nuts and a left arm? Or is there local mechanic shop I could go to?

Yeah i thought somebody would comment on that lol. It may not have made any sense. I knew the locks were "broken" when I bought the truck. Let me just state that for the record. lol.

Ready, fire, aim = that was some pretty funny sh*t. lol
 
if you have a lock on the glove box take the lock out and take it to a locksmith. hopefully all the locks are still the same, and only the ignition was changed.
