I've recently bought a SONY 46" and a samsung upconverting dvd player 9it came with a Surround sound system(5.1channel)) that upconverts to 1080p. at first every thing worked perfectly, but, soon when i was playing DVDs's, i would start getting a staticy screen and the if i swithced the input channels the tv would say NO SIGNAL, but the surround system would still work (its connected to the dvd player) to fix this i had to unplug the hdmi cable and plug it in. then a few mins. later the same thing would happen. Please Help!
