i have been blowing my nose a whole day yesterday and then my left rib cage hurts...

...when i breathe? i have a cold...and yesterday i blew my nose a lot... my rib cage hurts when i breathe, blow my nose, cough or sneeze.. what can it be? it still hurts today.. i hoped it would heal overnight.. :/
