I have An Real issue With algaue In my fish Tank !?

I clean My fish tank out regulale i have a filter Ect. About 2 days after cleaning it out ( and i mean scubing with a tooth brush cleaning!) It completly cloged up with algaue, How can i stop it? Is there A home remideie, Im not keen on spending money :) Or someware i can get a free sample (UK)
