I have an overly aggressive male cockatiel I'd like to give to a bird rescue?

My cockateil Daisy is about 6 years old and despite the name, we discovered about 2 years ago is actually male. I have another cockateil named Pip (whom we thought was a male but is actually female who is an extraordinarily sweet bird. Pip was purchased a little less than 2 years before Daisy and was aggressive at first but then became very sweet. Daisy on the other hand, has always been very aggressive. Around the time when I believe Pip is in Estrus (I know because she is sitting on an egg later) he becomes extremely aggressive and will attack her as well as my family. I am an animal lover and would never hurt an animal but I have to tell you after being attacked by a small bird and seeing your beloved other bird being attacked if you even try to touch her I've been tempted. I don't think animal shelters will take in an aggressive animal but I don't know what to do at this point- I no longer can deal with the aggression and stress Daisy puts on me and my other bird. I live in CT and was hoping to find a New England bird rescue or someone who can prove to me their credentials that would be willing to take in Daisy. Please contact me if you think you can help!
