...gear. Does anyone know what it co? I have an automatic 2007 honda cicic lx. Recently it does not shift into 4th gear. Does anyone know what it could be or what I should do. The rpms will go very high but it will just go very slow. Going uphill is almost impossible. There is no check engine light or any warning light on
 
make sure you do not have a button for the overdrive somewhere. and you can go to carcomplaints.com and see if there are any factory recalls, I know there were a few reported problems with this year, but the worst honda civic was the 2001 for what ever reason. good luck lets hope it is something simple, also,it just occured to me to have some one check the transmission fluid and make sure the transmission is full.
 
over drive button is on OFF,. turn it on. it's located sometimes on the stick it's self under neath the shift button .
