I have an active lifestyle and can't use tampons or pads- is there an alternative?

Pads actually give me sores on the insides of my legs when I'm walking around and I just can't insert tampons properly so they cause great pain and discomfort too :( Please help.
 
I see three possibilities for you.

1). Get used to the tampon

2). Get used to the pad/find one that is comfortable.

3). Wear nothing and allow the blood to run down your legs!
 
Try a slim tampon. I believe Tampax and Playtex both make 'slimmer' versions of the regular tampon, for girls who are just learning to use them, so they're more comfortable to insert! Good luck. :)
 
Well, you could always use a washcloth or rag instead of a pad, but that's probably not the most sanitary though. And there's always the possibility of adult diapers...
