Ok so i just bought an 87 toyota camry about 2 weeks ago. I already had some work done to it. But i was hoping someone may know what the problem is. It stays at half way between hot and cold and when its hot outside and im at a stop light it rises to 3 bars before it going to hot (its a digital screen). Only when its hot out. So i cant really go very far cause im worried if i run it hot shit can go wrong. Anyway if anyone has an idea, so i dont get ripped off going to a shop and kinda know what im talking about going there that would be great!!! :)

So when replacing that stuff would the water pump have been replaced when that was done?

Sounds as if the water pump is worn out. The impellers disintegrate after a time. It could also be that the thermostat on the radiator is stuck shut. I'd really look at the water pump, though.
If it has to be replaced, and you do it (you'll fry your engine if you don't)
go ahead and have a new 'belt installed at the same time. It will save you trouble down the line.
