Milwaukee to Seattle- WHY? I have 06 expedition XLT. After I drove from Milwaukee,Wi to Seattle, Wa, I noticed a significant drop in gas mileage. I will note here that two days after my arrival my check engine light came on and a medium pitch noise could be heard. The noise turned out to be the idler pulley, and a faulty alternator sending feed back to the PCM caused the check engine light. There was also some pinion seal leakage, and it got an oil change All done at a Ford dealership. I have changed the air filter to a K&N. I have used Lucas fuel injector cleaner at two fill ups. I used to get about 390 - 395 miles per tank now I get 248-260. Any ideas before I take it back to a dealership for a $150 diagnostic?
