I have ADD...want to join the military?

this is a 2 part question

1. if I have add, but have no medical records to prove it, if I go in the service, will they put me on medication, or discharge me?

and

2. I do a lot of things on impulse, and I have a hard time focusing on more than one task...will that make military life too hard?
