I have a weird Gmail question?

I have files on my Gmail that I shared with other people for a temp job. That is to say, I shared the files not Gmail.

However, now that these people and I no longer have a need to share, I would like to delete their stuff from my Gmail. Since it was a temp job, (and I don't want to burn bridges) I do not want to mess up thier files.

So will the deleating these files on my Gmail affect their Gmail shared files too?

Or will they just still have access to the files and it just me who won't
I meant google Doc. Can't you just give me answer without making fun of my lack of tech savy?

GMail doesn't have any file sharing facilities. It lets you email copies of files to people and once sent, you can't delete them.

(Google Docs is another story)
