bad checks...? This was 3 years ago, I recently applied for a job that was running a background check so I got nervous and I called the county in Michigan to find out about the warrant or if I still had one. I wanted to make payments on the restitution and the probation officer was really rude saying I need to spend alot of time in jail for leaving.. Anyway, the next day I get a letter signed byt the sherriff saying that he will turn my bench warrant into an extradite from wisconsin to michigan warrant and that wisc. authorities would arrest me. How true is this, I thought they wouldnt extradite for a misdemeanor???? I am sick to my stomache. Please help.
Its NOt a Felony...It is still a misdemeanor. I didn't flee I already had plans to leave and sometimes dealing with the courts is impossible. They want to throw everyone in jail. I am a good person and I made a mistake. But it is still a misdemeanor. Please only give advice if you know what you are talking about.
