i have a V6 1993 ford ranger 4x4 XLT and it need it's front barrings repacked?

I need some help. i have a V6 1993 ford ranger 4x4 XLT and it need it's front barrings repacked i don't have the money to pay some one because i am in college and i like working on it myself. if any one know how of where i can find out to how to repack them of if you know please tell me.

i need to know how to get the bearings out of the axle and put them back in the axle. it is also a 4 weel drive that makes it harder.
 
does only hard part will be getting the large nut off in the center old was to tap it with a screwdriver and hammer but shouldnt now you can rent a socket for it most parts places... and buy a small tub of grease pretty easy to remove bearing just a few lock rings and a nut.. you re pack bearing by a big hand full of grease and with bearing in hand push a round edges on one side til grease comes out the other side... start with removing the end cap not hard this site might help
 
this might be little help;
not an easy task however, must remove wheels,[make sure vehicle secure on stand] remove calipers, then must remove center hub nut,slide complete assembly hub/disc assembly/ once on ground remove inner hub seal, remove bearings, clean/repack & reassemble.

1. Raise the vehicle & place on jack stands
2. Remove the tire
3. Remove the calliper assembly
4. Remove the Allen screws from the hub
5. Remove the snap ring on the end of the live axle shaft
6. Remove the external snap ring on the outer edge where the aluminium hub assembly slides in
7. Spin in an Allen screw on either side of the insert, then there is something to grasp while removing.
8. Remove the insert
9. With a special socket, back off the bearing nut
10. Remove the rotor, then inspect the u-joints. If any rust is visible (where the cups swivel on the joint) then the u-joints must be replaced. This is a big job & not recommended for a novice mechanic.
11. Place the rotor on two pieces of 2X4
12. With a brass drift, lightly tap on the inner bearing
13. Wash the bearings in solvent NOT GAS & blow dry with compressed air. Don't mix up the bearings.
14.Inspect the bearings & races for pits or deep scratches. Rollers should not be floppy loose in the cage. If so then replace the bearing & race.
15.Clean old grease from hub assembly & repack with certified wheel bearing grease.
16.Purchase a pair of nitrate gloves. With the gloves on pack the wheel bearings. Place a lump of grease in the palm of your left hand. Then place the back side of the bearing on the lump of grease & push hard. This will force the grease between the rollers.
17.Repeat the process with remaining bearings. Make sure to keep the bearings clean.
18.Install the bearing in their correct hub
19.Purchase new hub seals & install. Tap down evenly & lightly so no damage occurs.
20.Install the rotor
21.Tighten bearing nut snugly, spin the rotor a few times, then back the nut off until the cotter pin (if equipped) can be install. If there is a ratchet type nut then two clicks is adequate.
22.Clean, grease & install the hub assembly.

Go to your Local library and find the Haynes books there and find your truck then find the page for repacking the barrings and photocopy the pages you need. Almost any parts store will either rent or let you use the socket and instead or just repacking since you have the hub off I would just replace the barrings since it is a 93
