ok. the phone is unlocked for t-mobile service, and jailbroken. and it works great. it is running version 4.0 (8A293)
I hooked my phone to my computer and iTunes is saying that there is a version 4.1 available..
I'm worried that if i update my phone to 4.1, i'll loose everything, and the phone will go back to ATT service provider.. and also i am worried that if i update it, iima be stuck at the "emergency calls only" screen.
I am naive and stupid about iPhones and how the jailbreaking procedure works. Please if anyone that is honest out there, please let me know if it is possible to do this update? I tried googling for my answer, but all i find are the same questions i am asking that are left UNANSWERED. so please! thanks! -Dave
THANK YOU~!!!~ your so awesome.. my only problem now is when i use safari, it goes back to the home screen; 2 seconds after using it. i dunno what that is about,. but it's whatever. unless someoen has a cure for this too
