know the stud diameter? i want to change the wheels on my car cos the standard wheels are quite frankly poo my mates got some off his old rs turbo and i know the stud diameter is 108 on ford, peugeot, and citroen wheels but im not sure if they will fit mine? and knowing what wheels from other brands of cars fit will really open up my options on ebay

It may be of no interest to you but fitting other makes wheels to your car is not really a very clever idea. In fact the car would be likely to fail the MOT as the wheels would not be approved for the car. Aftermarket wheels have to be tested and matched to the car by the wheel manufacturer. They then assume a legal responsibility for their recommendations. Your decision would not carry the same weight. Your insurers would also love to spot them in the event of a claim as they would then not need to pay out. Failing to declare the wheels as a change to your insurer would have the same effect.
