I have a Toyota Camry (2000) that has very suddenly developed a problem. I'm at work

and need help now!? My wife and I never use (or even arm) our car alarm. Just now, I went out to put something in the car, and the alarm went off. After a minute or so it stopped. I tried to open the door to start it, and the alarm started back up. The engine will not even try to turn over while the alarm is going off (which I suppose is a normal thing). I have no key fob of any kind to shut the alarm off. We never even carried it on our key chain. Beyond this problem, I might mention that when starting the car (for the past month) we noticed that it starts slower. The starter makes a normal sound, just slower, then it always started (within 2-3 seconds usually). So what is going on? How do I disconnect the alarm and start my car so I can go home today?
