i have a suzuki quad runner 250 LTF-250 2x4 and it is not getting gas to the carb?

Its sounds to be the pump not working or the filter is dirty.

i took the petcock apart and cleaned it but no gas is coming out of it the gas line is not stoped up or pinched what should i do
