I have a straight talk phone,?

I have a straight talk phone, the phone will not let me send or receive pic messages, or browse on the internet, so they sent me out a new sim card threw the mail. What my question is, can i activate my new sim with out having to actually call and talk to person and mess with all that crap.???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really dont want to call and get it going that way! I'll be one hold for about and hour!
