HELP!? My father... he bought two phones on Ebay (urg) and they are both red Blackberry Curves Sprint brand.
Mine was set of for Boost Mobile with a number and a pin, and his wasn't, they switched mine over, but told us that we can't get the Blackberry features IE App World and the Browser because the Boost didn't recognize the phones as a Blackberry, and he thinks they probably won't work.
My phone, the one that was already set up with Boost, although a Sprint phone, has never had the App World app in the menu, but my dad's does. The guy said it may take a few days to get the browser, will it just pop up? will it be Blackberry browser? or the crappy non-functional Boost browser that you can't do anything on? Or will one come up at all???
I understand that we must pay more, but it's not giving us that feature? IDK! The guy at the Boost store isn't that smart (past dealings) but he is all we have here in E-I-E-I-O.
Can anyone explain this to me?
Nut Shell:
Will I be able to have the full use of the Blackberry, or will it be no better than Boost's own crappy clutch phone!?
Also, What is the point of the Blackberry media center? Besides pictures, I don't really understand it if you can't just upload your own stuff on it. (this doesn't necessarily need to be answered, but the other main question DOES.
I need an internet capable phone because I leave town for a week every so often, and it's very important that I have internet for educational reasons.
Thank you!!!
