My arch feels like someone hit it with a hammer. It usually happens when I go swimming or early in the morning/late at night. Its a deep stabbing pain that won't go away and it feels like if I bend my foot or move my ankle something is going to snap... its painful. It only happens 2 or 3 times a year but when it happens its immobilizing. I don't quite know how to explain it.
I'm 19, female, have a normal BMI, and have never so much as sprained my ankle in the past if that helps... its been going on since I was 14ish. Any clue what it could be? I don't wear heels at all and my shoes fit... ??? Its just really mysterious to me.
