I have a sharp pain in my vagina after I pee. What could be causing it?

I had sex a day before my period started, and 2 days after my period started(today), the vaginal pain started. Very worried!
STDs very unlikely, we always use condoms and i believe he is faithful. Also, I've developed a fever but the urge to pee is gone away, and the pain is not so bad anymore. Is this good or bad?
