i have a samsung hd tv a yamaha stereo and a blue ray player, i want to....?

i want to play music through the bluray player with my usb stick and that works, but when i try to switch to another source to play my wii and listen to the music at the same time the music goes away it shows that its still playing on the bd player and the stereo is still on does anyone no what the prob. is? thanks in advance
