...relaxing color. Help? I want a room with relaxing colors but that still shows personality like lavender or green but I sont want it to end up looking girly either!
My room is awkward with the window in a weird place and the closet too. I have a huge bed and a huge dresser my grandma felt she had to get for me so my room never looks the way its suposed to it makes me feel stressed. Any ideas?
I need pictures please or maybe a site that helps with these promblems?

Blue is always a relaxing, peaceful color. A soft pale blue would be lovely and many colors go with it. You can have accent colors in lavender or green, which would go well, since the colors all go together.
 
Well, pale green is known to be relaxing. I really like lavender with green too, so you're doing well by me. I'm all for having soft lamp light too. That's more relaxing than than the overhead light.

I suggest you browse on line at IKEA as they have ideas for decorating and being Swedish, not heavy feeling stuff.
