Forgive me if this has already been addressed somewhere, and for ranting a bit...but why is there an ad for something on every discussion I want to be updated on? Just when I think there might be something useful because it has a light red dot...it's some F'ing ad for a Nokia or something.

Am I totally off base here...after all I am new. Somebody let me know what the deal is. (And I'm not that mad I just get a little fired up every now and again...)
