how many total mounts do I have in my car i have heard conflicting answers by auto dealers and parts stores etc yet my mechanic is telling me that i need 5 motor mounts, Five meaning engine and transmission combined, He states that the parts are app 150. 00 while the service takes appr 6.4 hours and thus will be 386.00 for a total of some where around 500 and change. Can someone tell me exactly how many mounts are on my car and if this sounds as if im getting ripped off.
