i have a 1988 oldsmobile delta 88 with a 3800 engine and i had my check engine light come on yesterday. i ran the codes and it came up 14 and 15 which was the coolant sensor so i took it to auto zone and they checked it too and it showed 14 and 15. they said it was the coolant sensor. i bought the sensor but can,t seem to get into it to change it. i can see where it is. it,s behind the linkage on the end of the intake on the drivers side. how can i get to it so i can change it? do i have to take the linkage off to get into it? i asked this question yesterday but no answers. i would appreciate it if you can tell me how to get to it. thanks guys !
